BOOK REVIEW: "The 'She' Stands Alone" by Nadine C. Keels

image

I know Nadine Keels for writing exceptional clean romance of the contemporary and historical sort, and you may, too, reader. Now she's released a "novelette", a short and sweet 48 page take of heartbreak and heart-mend.

Sheridan Jones is a self-professed bibliophile with a broken heart, trying to figure out how to get her life back on track.
Her first stop is to the hair salon, and the second is to buy a killer pair of "hooker boots". Finally, she decides that if men won't date her, she'll date herself!
But is loneliness with her books really how she wants to live? Is she ignoring what her life could be? Is she really happy?

This story doesn't even take twenty minutes to read, but it's a fast twenty minutes!
Sheridan is a very relatable character. I love her attitude and can remember feeling how she feels, as will other readers.
If you like your love short, sweet and clean, definitely pick up The 'She' Stands Alone!

5/5--enjoyable!
