Halloween Horror Month: "Witch Moon" by Kat Gracey
Marrying into the Alpha pack was easy
Falling in love was never part of the plan
Anna is a half witch, sent in undercover to spy on the Alpha pack. After her coven casts a love spell, Anna ends up marrying Charlie, the youngest pack brother.
Caught between her coven and her new 'family; the lines begin to blur as she develops feelings for Charlie. Soon Anna must choose a side and when the truth comes to light about her parents deaths, her world starts to unravel.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
After years of vampires vs. werewolves, seeing the shapeshifters face off against witches was an interesting concept.
Anna is an interesting character whom I wasn't sure if I liked or not all through the book. Charlie, on the other hand, I liked right away. He's definitely book boyfriend material!
I liked the plot, there was a lot of underhanded scheming going on on almost all sides, especially Anna's. It was well written and never confusing, as "undercover" plots often become after a while.
The book gets 4 instead of 5 stars due to a few grammatical errors I found that made me have to reread sentences, and there IS a cliffhanger ending. I love them, but I know others don't so I feel I have to mention it.
Over all, it was a great, fast read that made me want so much more.
4/5--excellent with few errors
