REVIEW:
Camryn Cruise is a normal, seventeen year-old girl in the upper-middle-class. She and her best friend Kiley's biggest worries are homecoming dresses.
Until one day Camryn's parents sit her down and tell her a secret: a disease has broken out, and it's catching...fast. They send her and Kiley to a secret camp to survive the disease and fight to Keri the human race alive.
But there's a secret even bigger than this disease. And it will change Camryn's life perspective forever.
With Ebola around now, This story was much more frightening than it needed to be. It might be point a 30 page novella, but Runaway read like a complete book. It was very vivid, Camryn herself is a tough cookie, and the cliffhanger ending will keep you on your toes till the next installment comes out.
You might find real things to fear, like I said, with everything that's going on right now, and that's the best part of the book, reading about The Sick and thinking, "Wow, this could be real." It's the clincher that makes this a YA story worth reading.
5/5--interesting!
