BOOK REVIEW: "Ringing The Devil's Bell" by H.G. Lynch
Ingrid was eight when a serial killer almost took her life. Ever since, she's lived in fear, knowing that one day he would be back to finish the job.
The man they call The Devil's Bell Killer, because of the sinister poem he leaves carved on his victim's bodies, has been searching for Ingrid, the one who got away from him, for years - and now he's finally found her.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I've heard of short and sweet. Ms. Lynch has made a new phrase with this book: short and terrifying! This is a suspense-filled tale that will leave you breathless from beginning to end. I can't say much because I don't want to give spoilers, but this story was electric.
The way she writes fear, it makes you feel what Ingrid was feeling. I read this at one in the morning, lights off, and I could feel the fear creeping into my body, as if transmitted from the story. This might be a short read, but it is definitely packed full of darkness!
5/5--I wish it had been longer!
